The Crimson Moon myspace page (www.myspace.com/crimsonmoonofficial) has been hacked as of yesterday evening.

Luckily this was done on a level of low competence and by whom, is quite obvious.

For now, one can simply disregard the page such as so many have done about the feeble cries for attention these devout "internet warriors" have previously attempted.

Updates and a resolution can be expected in the near future, meanwhile:

will continue to be the active Crimson Moon homepage.

It is obvious myspace has security issues beyond phishing and spamming, I would urge anyone concerned about their page being infiltrated in the method that was used to hack the Crimson Moon page to voice their concerns regarding this directly to myspace.

XXVIII November MMVII

The Serpent Beneath the Skin 2007 recording (previously released within the Xepera Xeper Xeperu
double-digipak) is now being pressed as an E.P. CD release, limited to 100 hand-numbered copies.
The E.P. will feature a new layout, and a fan disc CD, such as the version included within the Xepera
Xeper Xeperu release. An early December 2007 release date can be expected for this. Due to the limited
number of copies, anyone interested in obtaining a copy should contact www.deathgasm.com directly.

While work on the DVD release has been put on the back burner, progress has remained steady towards the
next Crimson Moon release, scheduled to be a split release. More news can be expected on this before the
end of 2007.

XVII October MMVII

Work towards new material is currently in steady progress. The upcoming full-length will be postponed however to
allow time for a split release that is currently in the works. An agreement has been made with a suitable band for this release, which can be expected on CD and Vinyl format early 2008. More information on this release and the band appearing on
this split will be made available when the time is right.
Expectations for this split-release are of highest caliber, and shall deliver a much needed statement through action that
will lay to rest any of the past controversy associated with Crimson Moon over the last year.

VI September MMVII

The Crimson Moon official DVD release is currently progressing to be released through Pagan Flames / Blackmetaldvds.com (known for the Gathering of Shadows double DVD release) together with Deathgasm Records.
A professional video editor has been hired to make this DVD release possible without limitations.
Russian film-maker Andrey Iskanov (Nails, Visions of Suffering,
Philosophy of a Knife, The Tourist etc.) has provided unique footage to be used for the DVD.
The release date will be available in the near future but can be expected towards the end of 2007.

A new Crimson Moon shirt design (the second of two for the Xepera Xeper Xeperu / Serpentine Beneath the Skin
release) is now being pressed and can be expected to be available soon. Photos and ordering information will be
made available here and within the Crimson Moon Forum.

Work has continued towards the next Crimson Moon full-length C.D. as well as the planned DVD release. The song
writing phase continues from where the prequal efforts of "Serpent Beneath the Skin" left off. Updates can be expected regularily.

XXII June MMVII

The 2007 Crimson Moon double cd, "Xepera Xeper Xeperu" is now available here and through www.deathgasm.com - This release contains the E.P, "Serpent Beneath the Skin", which is entirely new material featuring the new and strongest yet line up of Crimson Moon, as well as a repress of the long sold out cd "To Embrace the Vampyric Blood", all packaged in a double gate fold digipack with slip case and other noteworthy packaging additives. Available for 15$ plus shipping.

The Winds from the Void 2007 North America Tour has been completed successfully. High quality video footage was taken
from all the shows thanks to Hatewar Productions - Current plans are in the works to compile live footage from this tour for an official DVD release.

Plans are currently in progress for European show dates for January of 2008. This will include Athens Greece, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and possibly Scandinavia. Promoters interested in booking Crimson Moon can contact us directly here.

Work on new material for the next Crimson Moon full length has gone underway immediately after the end of the Winds from the Void tour. This material will be the first 'real' studio recording in the history of Crimson Moon and plans to enter the studio sometime in the Fall/Winter of 2007 are currently in progress.

XV April MMVII

Ixithra of Demoncy has been added to the Crimson Moon line-up as a second guitarist.

Crimson Moon will be Performing at the "Embrace the Hate" Metal Festival in Los Angelos May 19th of 2007.
An Extensive Crimson Moon tour with Demoncy, Incursus, Tenebrous and Legions of Astaroth is now in the works for the U.S. throughout the month of May.

Further dates and locations will be announced soon.

Crimson Moon is currently finishing up details for a label signing for a new release, which will be available in time for the U.S. tour to take place in May. More details will be available soon.
Expect a one of a kind release in both musick and packaging.

New Crimson Moon shirts are currently being pressed in limited quantities. These will first be available to members of the Official Crimson Moon / Postmortem Creations Forum.
Be sure to sign up, or take your chances of obtaining one after they have been made available on the Forum, if not already sold out.

Crimson Moon line up update:

Occaxial Asceticus (Legions of Astaroth) has been added to the line-up performing guitars for the upcoming Crimson Moon release. This is the final addition which will allow recording to commence at the beginning of February 2007, and will allow proper live performances to take place in 2007.

X January MMVII

Free downloads of the Crimson Moon 1994 and 1995 demos now awailable in the Propaganda section.
The master 4-track cassettes for these demos have been recovered after being hidden away in storage for over a decade. The mp3 downloads are a quick stereo mix from 4-track to PC, a full blown remaster and remix will soon be made of the original Crimson Moon demos.

Unreleased track recorded during the Under the Serpentine Spell era "Death's Posture" now available for download
in the Propaganda section.

A permanent guitarist is now going through the process of audition for Crimson Moon. A concrete decision should be known
and announced by the start of MMVII.

Touring plans for Crimson Moon are now being discussed for May MMVII along with 4 other bands of strong and malevolent status within the U.S. - More news will be made available as things progress.

The Forum is now locked from unregistered users. Registration must now be approved before accepted which may take up to a few hours. This has been done to avoid bots, spammers and to filter out unwelcomed visitors. More changes will take place within the Forum soon. Some areas will be availablle only to active users.

Crimson Moon is now in the recording process for a new release. Progress is moving along better than ever. An estimated release date will be made available by the end of the month. The line-up for this recording is:

Scorpios Androctonus: Vocals, Bass, Guitars
VJS (Demoncy, Incursus, Tenebrous): Drums and Percussion

- Blood Moon Ausar's involvement with Crimson Moon is still in a pending status, though he is welcome
to continue as part of Crimson Moon, it is simply a matter of time and pending circumastances to establish
any concrete status concerning matters.

- It is still undecided if keyboards or synthesizers will be used on the new material. If so, they will be performed by Scorpios Androctonus, and used sparingly. The new material simply does not need the additives of keyboards and the riffing structures stand out well as they are. Some areas of the music may be complimented however with subtle hints of keyboards, this will be decided once the recording of the music is completed. - A brief sample of a scratch take from the new material has been sent to a few select individuals. Thus far, it has received an extremely good response and has been noted as keeping a definate
"Crimson Moon feel".

- Due to continuing efforts on Overlord's behalf to utterly destroy and make a mockery of Crimson Moon,
information regarding this release such as the album title, lyrics and any other detailed descriptions will
remain in secrecy to avoid further actions of theft. Alll will be available here however once the new material is sent off to the label and pending pressing.

VIII - October MMVI

New Forum / Message Board has been launched. This will now be the permanent replacement for the former Crimson Moon forum, which is no longer an official source and highly urged to be disregarded
as a total Farce from any accurate information or repesentation of Crimson Moon.
